The region of Antioquia is currently emerging as a territory developing major infrastructure investment projects. These include the execution, operation, and maintenance of around 35 tunnels, which have generated approximately 35,000 jobs. This number is expected to increase in the coming years, as the region experiences one of the largest investments in the past five decades. Through these tunnels, Medellín will be connected to the Pacific and Caribbean coasts, as well as to southern and eastern Colombia, facilitating both passenger and freight transport, with reduced travel times that will make us even more competitive as a region.
