S$350.04 million contract 918 is for the design and construction of Tan Kah Kee Station and tunnels.
Tunnels excaveted by a EPBM Herrenknecht with a diameter of 6.5m for a total tunnel of 2x1200m.
for the concrete segment protection Mapei UTT supplied the product MAPECOAT W SP, used for almost all projects of Singapore metro, which proved to be resistant to the abrasion caused by the passage of the TBM tail brushes.
