The project involves the construction of a 13.5-kilometre-long tunnel using two EPB TBMs with an external diameter of 4.4 metres and an internal diameter of 3.9 metres and will bring drinking water, from an existing drinking water plant, to a population of 2.4 million people. The work is located in the "partido" of Quilmes and Lomas de Zamora.
