Phu Gia Tunnel Project

Phu Gia Tunnel together with Phuoc Tuong tunnel are being built to ease traffic congestion on the 1A motorway and reduce the number of traffic accidents on the Phu Gia and Phuoc Tuong Mountain Passes. The tunnels will also significantly shorten travel time between the 2 cities of Hue and Danang, boosting economic development and cultural exchanges in the area.
With 447m length and 10.5m diameter, the tunnel was excavated by New Austria Tunneling Method (NATM).
