The project is comprised in the “Rokycany – Pilsen Railway Line Modernization” part of domestic Railway Transit Corridor III – Western Section. The primary objective of the corridor structures on the railway line from Prague to Pilsen is to achieve a running time shorter than one hour from Prague Main Railway Station to Pilsen Main Railway Station and vice versa. The project consisted in two parallel single-track tunnels, 9.89m-diameter each with a length of 4.150m. Mapei UTT cooperated closely with the contractor to choose the most proper chemical products for ground conditioning and find out their ideal application method.
