Transect Gotthard Base Tunnel

Being part of the AplTransit project, the 57 km railway tunnel excavation (by drill and blast) beneath the Swiss Alps has the aim to increase the total transport capacity acroos them. The project consists ot two single tracks tunnels. Mapei supplied mortars and admixtures for shotcrete and concrete. The products used included DYNAMON EASY 11, DYNAMON SX, STABILCEM T, MAPEQUICK AF 1000, MAPEQUICK AF 2000. Plus MAPETARD D, MAPEGROUT COSMETIC and MAPEGROUT STANDFEST, manufactured and distributed on the Swiss market by Mapei Suisse.
