TUNNELKETTE M6 - Hungary - motorway tunnels

The M6 motorway is a north-south section of the Trans European Network corridor following the left bank of the Danube river, and connecting Hungary´ s capital Budapest with the Croatian Border.
The construction volume of the entire project amounted to € 855 million.
The Tunnel project consists of 8 tunnels built with NATM (new Austrian Tunnelling Method) mined tunnels with a total length of 6 km, named Tunnel “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”.
The Underground Technology Team Austria supported the job site from beginning to the end especially for shotcrete accelerator and repair products.
