Wienerwaldtunnel (railroad-tunnel)

With a total length of 13,4 km “Wienerwald Tunnel” is connected to the project “Lainzer Tunnel” as well as to project “Tullnerfeld Tunnel”
In service without interruptions, trains pass the tunnel at a speed up to 250 km/h. The travel time from Vienna to St. Pölten is now 25 min (instead of 1 h). length = 13,356 km, two tunnels, diameter approx. 8,10 m.
