Admixture for enhancing the pumpability of sprayed concrete
Where to use Mapeplast UTT is exclusively suitable for sprayed concretes. Thanks to its special formulation, Mapeplast UTT gives cementitious mix special rheological characteristics that enhance the shotcrete to better run through the pumping pipes, maintaining its homogeneity and avoiding the segregation caused by friction against the pipes. Therefore Mapeplast UTT permits the creation of shotcrete easily pumpable and without segregation, even when of fluid or super-fluid consistency (S4 or S5 according to UNI EN 206-1). Mapeplast UTT is particularly suitable for: – preparing shotcrete easily pumpable even for long distances; – preparing shotcrete poor in fine and very fine particle aggregates; – preparing shotcrete with discontinuous grading of aggregates, i.e. lacking one or more sizes of aggregate particles; – preparing super-fluid shotcrete without surface bleeding.
Consumption From 0.2 to 0.8 l per 1000 kg of cement.
Packaging Mapeplast UTT is available in 200 l drums and 1000 l tanks. Also available in bulk on request.
